WHAT DO YOU NEED?

WHAT YOU NEED

Before you meet with the club, make sure you have current club membership and all of the vehicle details required for the application:

  • Make, model, year of manufacture

  • Plate number

  • Engine number

  • Chassis number

  • Driver’s licence number

  • Exemption certificates (where applicable, eg LHD and Street Rod vehicles)

  • Your Adelaide Car Club membership card (you can download this from your profile)

It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle meets the criteria and is roadworthy and has appropriate exemptions in place as required.

If your vehicle already has club registration with a logbook issued by another club, the old logbook must be cancelled by the issuing club before a new one can be issued.

FURTHER INFORMATION

You may have as many vehicles as you like on club registration.

You must fill out the logbook before driving the vehicle each day. There is no limit to the number or length of journeys permitted on each day. A vehicle on club registration may only be driven on 90 days per year.

You must maintain your club membership at all times for the club registration to be valid.

Club registration is not transferrable upon the sale of the vehicle.

A vehicle may only have one logbook associated with its club registration at a time. If a logbook has previously been issued by another club, it must be cancelled by the issuing club before a new logbook can be issued.
